According to the CTTI Think Tank Report (2020) published in January 2022, the British Studies Centre(BSC) at BFSU was ranked 6th in the Top 10 think tanks in country and area studies.

The "Chinese Think Tank Index" (CTTI), is a data management and evaluation system of think tanks that was jointly developed by the China Think Tank Research and Evaluation Centre of Nanjing University and the Think Tank Study and Publishing Center at Guangming Daily. BSC at BFSU was selected as a CTTI source in 2018 and ranked 7th in the field of country and area studies in the CTTI Think Tank Report (2019).
