Recently, at the 22nd National Book Annual Meeting, Blue Book of the United Kingdom: Annual Report of Development of the United Kingdom (2019-2020), co-organised by Academy of Regional and Global Governance of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), the British Studies Centre at BFSU and the British Studies Branch of Chinese Association for European Studies, won the 12th “Outstanding Book Award” Third Prize.

Blue Book of the United Kingdom: Annual Report of Development of the United Kingdom is edited by Wang Zhanpeng from School of English and International Studies at BFSU. Since it was officially selected as a book series in 2015, the quality of the book has been improving, and it has had a wide social impact. In the comprehensive evaluation this year, Blue Book of the United Kingdom: Annual Report of Development of the United Kingdom (2019-2020) was ranked 49th out of 416 participating books and 2nd in the category of country and area studies. This is the first time for the book to win “Outstanding Book Award”.
